SFN Volunteer Leadership Team!
Dedicated Parents Who Make SFN Possible...
Co-President:
Briana Danielson

This is my fifth year as a SFN member, and third year as a board member. I have enjoyed attending many SFN events with my daugter Sarah (4.5), son Luke (2.5) and daughter Hillary (3mths). My husband Jon and I have lived in Sudbury for 6 years. We moved here from Davis Square in Somerville. Before having children I worked for Bain & Company as a Graphic Designer. I currently run my own stationery and graphic design business from my home. SFN has been a wonderful way for me to meet new people in town and I know my kids will continue to enjoy the great events that are offered throughout the year. For those reasons and more I am thrilled to be able to give back to such a great organization.

My husband, Matt, and I have lived in Sudbury for six years and have two children, Graham born in February 2007 and Samantha born October 2008. We moved to Sudbury from Boston and I've been home full time since Graham was born. I previously worked for Fidelity Investments for about 9 years. I'm interested in cooking, baking, horses, reading, being outside, going out to eat and playing with my kids! After attending SFN events for a few years when Graham was an infant, and meeting tons of great people, I got more involved as one of the Family Events Co-Chairs. That has since lead to my current position of Co-President. SFN has been a wonderful place to have fun with the whole family, meet new people, and enjoy all that our town has to offer. I'm thrilled to be part of the SFN leadership team and look forward to seeing you all at our events!

Since 2009 I have enjoyed being a member of the Board for SFN. For the first couple of years I was one of the coordinators of the large family events, but beginning in January 2012 I will be assisting the Co-Presidents of the organization, Briana and Susan. My husband, Eric, and I have been in Sudbury since 2008 and have two boys, Ethan (born November 2006) and Ben (born November 2008) and another on the way (due November 2011). We both grew up in New England and love the small town and rural atmosphere of Sudbury. We were previously living up in VT while Eric got his MBA from Tuck. I've been home full-time since Ben was born, but for the previous 10 years I worked in benefits consulting at Fidelity Investments.

After attending SFN events for almost 2 years, I’m excited to take on a leadership role and to get more involved in this great organization! My husband, Brian, and I moved to Sudbury in 2007. We have two little girls – Morgan, who will be 2 in February, and Delaney, who was just born in November of 2010. We also have a crazy mutt named Daphne who was really our first child. I grew up in western NY, spent my college years in VA, and then landed in Boston in 1999. In my life pre-kids, I worked for a few of software/web companies in all sorts of different roles. I’m currently home full-time with my girls, and am surprised pretty much every day how much I enjoy it. I try to spend as much time as I can outside, and would someday like to get my tennis game back. I’m looking forward to being able to meet more of you through this new role!

I have lived in Sudbury since 2002, and joined SFN in 2006, when my daughter was a baby. SFN has provided me with many wonderful opportunities to get to know other families in the community, and has made Sudbury feel like a much smaller, more welcoming town.

My husband, daughter and I have only been here about a year now. I am a nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit at children's hospital Boston. I work part time and get to spend the rest of the time with my 16 month old daughter Molly. We are still fairly new to SFN and have only been able to attend a few activities. I am looking forward to the new Media relations role and meeting a bunch of great new people in our area.

I joined SFN in 2008, and have learned so much about the area and have made so many friends as a result. I moved extensively throughout my childhood and wish my family had access to something like SFN each time! My husband, Josh, and I have a daughter, Madeline (3), and a gigantic yellow Lab, Jake. I love spending time outdoors, skiing, hiking, traveling, running (mostly after Madeline!), as well as reading, writing, and photography. Before moving to Sudbury two years ago, we lived in the Berkshires and Boston, where I completed two rounds of graduate school and worked in marketing. I now work part-time as an independent marketing consultant, and I’m also working on several entrepreneurial ventures. I’m looking forward to being the Story & Craft coordinator and meeting more SFN families!

We have two daughters, Isabel who is 3.5 and Matilda who is 1.5 and we also have a hound dog named Bob. I was born in Australia and lived there until I was 25. Before being a full time Mom, I was a travel agent, which allowed me to travel all over the world and led me to meet Jeff on an African Safari. We were married in 2003 in Australia and moved to the USA shortly after that. I am an outdoors person and love to hike, swim and go camping. I also love to travel and hope to take our girls to some of the places we have been. I am looking forward to planning some fun outings and to meeting everyone at the events.

HI! My family and I moved to Sudbury four months ago from Hopkinton, and I thought it would be great to become involved in SFN. I have three children: Jack 7, Leah 4, and Abbey 2. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom I was an elementary school teacher. I have a Master's Degree in Education and taught third grade in Connecticut, fourth and sixth grade at the Boston Renaissance Charter School, and third and fourth grade in Wayland. I've spent a lot of time with children, planning curriculum, planning events and interacting with parents. Currently, I volunteer at Jack's and Leah's school. I'm originally from Connecticut, and I am the youngest of seven children. I enjoy reading, running, skiing, and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy attending seminars to further the development of children. We're very happy to be in Sudbury, and I am excited to be part of the SFN.

My husband, Stephen and I moved with our family (Emma, 3, Matthew, 9 months, and a very active 8 year old beagle, Pudge) from Boston in August. I am the former President of the South Boston Moms Club and knew immediately I wanted to get involved with the Sudbury Family Network. Since leaving my career in HR when Emma was born, one of my many new "job descriptions" as a mother is to be as active in my children's lives as possible and giving my time to an organization with such a great reputation was a no-brainer. We look forward to raising our family here in Sudbury and to making new friends!

I moved to Sudbury in December 2009 and was so happy to find SFN and all the wonderful activities they have to offer. I took on the role of Story & Craft Coordinator for 1½ years and am thrilled to now be planning the Large Family Events! My husband, Dave, and I have three girls — Averie, Alexa, and Adley. I spent two years working in marketing and advertising after graduating from college before switching careers and teaching elementary school for four years. My husband and I are enthusiastic sports fans and enjoy following the Boston teams. I look forward to meeting many of you at our events this year!

I am fairly new to SFN but have enjoyed it from the start and knew it was something I wanted to become more involved with. I have lived in Sudbury since 2002. We lived here for a few years before moving to Shanghai, China with my husband's company. We moved back to Sudbury in 2007 and are happily settled. I have three great boys- Ryan, 7, Timmy, 3 and Colin, 13 months. I am excited to start getting more involved in this community that I love.
Dad's Events Coordinator:

This year is my third year as a member of the Sudbury Family Network (SFN). I joined SFN shortly after moving to Sudbury with my family in the summer of 2008. I was so impressed with the organization that I decided to become involved in SFN leadership. I served as the Future Classmates Coordinator for two years and enjoyed meeting so many of you at our summer playground events. I will remain on the SFN Board, helping to plan regular SFN events, including Dad's events. My husband, Jeff, and I have three boys, Drew (4), Jack (3), and Ryan (15 months). Before moving to the Boston area, we lived in Chicago where I completed law school and worked as an attorney for the law firm of Jones Day. Through SFN, we have come to know and love this wonderful community.

We've lived in Sudbury since 2005, and our daughter Taylor was born in November 2009. When she was 6 months old I realized that most of my conversations were with her, with me doing all the talking - I knew we needed to get out more! I joined SFN and have really enjoyed the variety of playgroups and activities for moms and babies. I'm from Western Massachusetts and my husband is from Alaska, and we met during college in Boston and compared notes on growing up in the middle of nowhere. Working in the technology industry, we lived in New York, Boston and Watertown, before feeling the urge to buy a fixer-upper and moved to Sudbury. I left the corporate world and started my personal chef business around that time. Thanks to our daughter and SFN, we feel much more a part of the community. I continue to run my business part-time, and am committed to healthy meals and good nutrition for all. I'm extremely grateful for the opportunities SFN is offering my family. Coordinating the Book Club has been another great way to make friends, keep the brain cells firing, and have great conversations on all sorts of issues in addition to parenting. I hope you'll join us!

This is my third year as a SFN member, and I recently took over responsibilities as the SFN Sponsor Coordinator. My husband and I have lived in Sudbury for two years and have two kids, Davis (5) and Kate (3). I grew up in Wayland and love being back in New England after spending a number of years living in New York and Atlanta. I attended Bucknell University for undergrad and Boston College for business school.
SFN Angels Coordinator:
Laura Cecere

My husband, John, and I have been in Sudbury since 2001 with a brief two-year hiatus between 2006 and 2008. We have four children Nina (born in 2006), Thomas (born in 2007), Elise (born in 2009) and Joseph (born in 2011). I have a degree in accounting and was working part-time as an Assistant Controller for Cognex Corporation in Natick until May of 2010 when I realized that I couldn't do it all and decided to stay home with my growing family. I have since taken on the accounting for my husband's medical device distribution company and find that my new boss is much more understanding when the kids are sick. Although I don't have much spare time, I enjoy cooking, pretty gardens, house projects and decorating and hope to someday find more time for these activities. I joined SFN when we returned to Sudbury in 2008 and have enjoyed the many people I have met through the organization and have appreciated all the events and activities for the children. In the wake of a medical crisis in the summer of 2011, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the SFN angels and thought the Angels Coordinator would be an appropriate way for me to get more involved in SFN. I hope all of you will consider joining the SFN Angels as I know first hand what a blessing it can be in the time of need.

My husband and I moved to Sudbury in 2008 with our crazy dog Palmer. Our son Will was born soon after. When Will was an infant I joined SFN and met some great families through playgroups and events. It made me want to get more involved! Our daughter Annie was born in the spring of 2010. I have been teaching 6th grade social studies in Framingham for the past twelve years. Before the kids arrived I also coached a swim team. I love to read, swim, and have a newfound interest in triathlons!

Originally from New York, my husband and I lived in Seattle for 15 years before moving back east. Our family moved to Sudbury in the summer of 2009. My daughter Riley is 6, and my son, Colin is 8. They attend Loring elementary and are currently in 1st and 3d grades. Our family enjoys travel, nature walks, movies, reading, and family game nights. I am a stay-at-home mom who works part time as a personal trainer. I also run my own blog about health and fitness. I serve as the secretary for the Sudbury Newcomers Club and created the new role for SFN to have a liaison between our two groups. If you have any questions about the Sudbury Newcomers Club, don't hesitate to contact me.

My husband, Pepper, and I moved to Sudbury in 2005. We have 3 children; Lili is 5, Chase is 3, and Parker will be 2 in May. Some of our favorite family activities include: traveling (especially to the Cape and Maine), watching sports, gardening, taking nature hikes, skiing, entertaining, and reading. In my life before kids, I attended the University of Michigan, lived in Estonia for a year, and went to Tufts for grad school. I taught second grade in Natick for 5 years and was also an Education Specialist at the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
I began attending and volunteering at SFN events when Lili was an infant. Since then I've met tons of people in town and have made many close friends along the way. SFN is an incredibly supportive network of fun and friendly parents! Being part of the SFN Leadership Team has been very rewarding. I love using my "adult" brain and feeling like I'm giving back to our community in a way that also benefits our children. My hope is that SFN will continue to grow, improve, and CONNECT families in the Sudbury area.
4+ Event Co-Coordinator/Outgoing Chair:

I was first introduced to SFN in my quest for a playgroup and have now been a member of SFN for 3.5 years. For the past three years I have held leadership positions in SFN, including two years as Event Co-Chair and one year as the Story and Craft Coordinator. My husband, Mike, and I moved to Sudbury in 2006 and we are the proud and exhausted parents of Kate (12), Jack (almost 10), Max (4) and Olivia (1.) I grew up right next door in Framingham, then lived in the midwest for about 8 years to attend Miami University in Oxford, OH for both my B.A. and M.B.A., before moving back to Boston. I worked full time until Max was born, first as a management consultant, then as an HR Executive and finally as a small business owner. Now I enjoy my unpaid job as CEO of the Troiano household! I love to swim, garden, ski, do crosswords, read, go out to dinner, watch reality TV, travel and spend time at the Cape. SFN has been wonderful to me and my children, introduced me to my now best friends in Sudbury and quickly helped me feel very connected to our broader community. I am very excited to be back on the SFN Board in the Event Chair role and look forward to meeting many more of you. Please share ideas you have for SFN events with me at any time. We love feedback!

My husband, Sean, and I have lived in Sudbury since 2007 and have two active boys, Finn (5) and Ryan (3 and a half.) Before the boys arrived, I worked as a software programmer for Harmonix Music Systems in Cambridge, developing music video games like Karaoke Revolution, Guitar Hero 2 and Rock Band. I'm originally from Long Island, NY, but spent several years in Northern California, first studying computer science at Stanford University and then working as a software programmer developing kids' "edutainment" software. I also spent a year living and working in Japan for a video game company. My husband and I met playing volleyball and softball after work in Boston, but currently spend most of our time fixing our house and playing with our boys. We love the family-friendly atmosphere and beautiful landscapes of Sudbury and look forward to making it our home for years and years to come. I love using the techie part of my brain again, serving as SFN's webmaster & Big Tent coordinator, and being a part of a wonderful organization.
